Thank you for all your work on behalf of King County residents to reduce the impacts of this pandemic for low-income families. It has now been six months since the CARES Act and we desperately need you to work quickly and vigorously to pass another coronavirus relief bill to help our battered economy.

As you begin to work on a follow-up to the CARES Act, please ensure the next stimulus bill contains the following elements:
- Economic security measures such as expanded tax benefits for low-wage earners, stimulus payments for non-tax filers, stimulus eligibility for ITIN filers and students ages 17 - 24, a TANF Emergency Fund, and extended work authorizations for immigrants.
- Sick leave, health insurance, and COVID-19 treatment for all workers, regardless of employment status, and an emergency investment in 211.
- Food security investments and flexibility to increase SNAP maximum benefits by 15 percent and minimum monthly benefits from $16 to $30 beyond the pandemic, and extend and strengthen Pandemic EBT through 2021, during the extended economic recovery period, and that we are not implementing regulations that tighten eligibility just as the need is growing.
- Increase investments in housing and homelessness programs to include a $100 billion investment in rental assistance to ensure landlords are made whole and renters do not emerge from this crisis with an eventual eviction AND debt that makes them 'un-rentable' when moratoriums are lifted.
- Investment of $50 billion in early learning to shore up our nation’s early childhood infrastructure which has been decimated by the unemployment crisis. We cannot return parents, especially moms, to work without a childcare system in place.
- Provides funding to nonprofits, which employ 10% of the nation's workforce and provide critical services that feed our bodies and souls.

The needs are tremendous, but the work you do can meet our nation's toughest economic challenge of our lifetimes. We are so grateful for your leadership.
